Summer Grass Track - Millfields Park 27th May.

 

Thursday 27th may and the final of our three May events as held at Millfields Park. Kingsmead, Mandeville and Millfields Schools attended. It was good thing there was no timed events as the grass was very thick slowing the riders down bit.

Summer Grass Track - Hackney Downs 26th May

 Wednesday 26th May at Hackney Downs saw the second of our May events take place. Six schools attended and took part in some great racing on the freshly mown grass.

Year 5 girls results


Jubilee, Benthal, Shacklewell, Grazebrook, Sir ThomasAbney and Woodberry Downs schools attended. It was great to see such a large turn out. The riders all kept safe in separate holding pens when not racing

Summer Grass Track - Haggerston Park 25th May

 

Time to get the numbers on YHPSCL is back where it belongs in Hackney's parks. Tuesday 25th May we had the first of three events in May at Haggerston Park. Only two schools could make this one so that meant the riders got in a lot of different races as well as the three ranking ones.

Gayhurst and Rosemary Branch schools cam along with full teams. The surface at Haggerston is not the smoothest but the riders took it in their stride and had great fun.

Total points for the league are Rosemary Branch - 531, Gayhurst - 486. Hopefully we'll have more schools at the next Haggerston meeting on Friday 11th June.
