| Year 5 boys in action |
10/5/19 YHPSCL round seven and its grass track time again. Six schools attended with 52 riders from year 4 and 5 taking part in mini omnium. Each year and gender group had three different races with the results from each race making up the riders final placing - the lowest total coming first and so on. Any riders tied on points were placed according to where they finish din the final race.
The year 4 girls saw Pia from Millfields win the 3 lap scratch form Magda of Jubilee and Pearl- Millfields. In the 1 lap handicap Matilda from Shacklewell made the most of her placing from the first race and won it form Helena of Gayhurst whilst Magda stormed round to pass most of the field and get third. In the 9 lap elimination race the riders were eliminated last ver the line each lap until five remained - Magda took first spot, Pearl second na Maya from jubilee edged out Pia for third.
This meant Magda won the overall followed by Pia than Pearl.

The year 4 boys had some close races. In the 3 lap scratch Milo of Jubilee won from Max of gayhurst then Roscoe of Millfields. In the 1 lap handicap Isa of Olive won from Sul of Gayhurst with Wolfe of Jubilee coming third. In the 9 lap elimination it came down to the last four _ Milo taking 4th, edged out by Roscoe in 3rd, Wolfe in 2nd leaving William from Jubilee to take the win and grab the overall thanks to his two sixth placings in the other races.

The girls of year 5 was closely fought throughout. The 3 lap scratch went the way of charlie for Jubilee withMerle of Gayhurst second and Poppy of Jubilee third. Margo from Gayhurst won the 1 lap handicap from Amarah of Millfields with her team mate Layla coming third. In the elimanation Charlie took the second win of the day to secure the overall whilst Lila of millfields came scone to claim 2nd overall and Poppy cam third also securing third overall.

The year 5 boys 3 lap scratch was won by Harris from Millfields, followed by Kuba f Jubilee and team mate Brandon for third. In the 1 lap handicap Joshua from Shacklewell tied first with Yusef of Parkwood with Kuba taking second and Jivori third. In the elimination Harris got his second win but Kuba came third meaning he got the overall by there points difference despite Harris' two wins.Brandon came second. In the overall Zooe from Gayhurst came third thanks to his 6th, 5th and 4th placings.

The league standings as a result of this round got a bit closer at the top and if the next two rounds go the same it could be either Jubilee or Millfields title win. Meanwhile Gayhurst are clawing their way towards third spot behind Parkwood. Plenty to play for in the last two rounds.
